I think is better to tell you who i am and what i do
My name is Simone Vergamini and i work in the world of wine for several years. I have developed an idea, a dream: to offer fans the best wines discovered in the field of tastings, events and courses, so the project called Uvaggio was born.
Here you will find the best wines from small wineries selected on the Italian territory, with an eye to Tuscany. A project started in July 2018 and with the collaboration of colleagues and producers will grow day by day!
What does Uvaggio means?
Uvaggio is an enological term, generally used for wines produced with different grapes harvested and vinified together. It is a very used term on the guides or on the specialized sites also to define the "recipe" of the wines, that is the percentage of the grapes used for the production. We have chose this name because a wine shop is ultimately a container of different wines born from different grapes, and here too as in enology we find them together, in order to satisfy our infinite passion.
What can you find on Uvaggio?
The goal of Uvaggio is to introduce to the fans small wineries conducted by producers in love with their work and the territory. All the wineries present on Uvaggio have been selected during company visits, fairs, events and enological trips: only by knowing the producers, visiting the cellars, the vineyards and tasting the wines we can present wines of high quality and with a marked adherence territorial, capable of transferring into the glasses all the love of those who produced them.
